Stamp Duty Statistics

 

With effect from 28 February 2024, all demand-side management measures for residential properties have been cancelled, that is, no Special Stamp Duty, Buyer’s Stamp Duty or Ad Valorem Stamp Duty at 7.5% under Part 1 of Scale 1 needs to be paid for any residential property transactions starting from that day.  Therefore, monthly publication of relevant stamp duty statistics is suspended with effect from April 2024.
