General Inspection

Tax Inspectors carry out on-site inspections of businesses and call on individuals to check their compliance with the various Ordinances administered by the Inland Revenue Department. They will identify themselves by their Departmental Warrant Cards when carrying out duties. The Departmental Warrant Cards are issued by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue. Tax Inspectors are authorized to make enquiries and carry out inspections as may be necessary for the administration of the following Ordinances:-
