Latest arrangement for "Auto Tax Payment Service" under the "Electronic Tax Reserve Certificates" Scheme and "Save-As-You-Earn" Scheme

In light of the Chief Executive's recent announcement that tax payment deadlines for salaries tax, personal assessment and profits tax demand notes for the year of assessment 2018/19 which fall between April to June of this year are automatically extended by three months, the "Auto Tax Payment Service" under the "Electronic Tax Reserve Certificates" Scheme and "Save-As-You-Earn" Scheme has been temporarily suspended. For Tax Reserve Certificates holders who have received the redemption proposals whereas the Tax Reserve Certificates have not been redeemed on the original due date, please disregard the relevant proposals. The Department will redeem the Tax Reserve Certificates for the holder for payment of tax on the extended payment deadline. Besides, the issue of the redemption proposal for Tax Reserve Certificate holder has also been temporarily suspended until further notice.
